Role OverviewWe are seeking a Solution Architect to partner closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to design and articulate compelling, end-to-end solutions for prospective and existing clients. This role sits at the intersection of business needs and technical execution, translating client requirements into scalable, secure, and differentiated solutions that drive sales success. The ideal candidate is client-facing, technically credible, commercially aware, and thrives in fast-paced, consultative sales environments.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales & Client EngagementPartner with Sales to support the full sales lifecycle, from discovery through deal closeLead technical discovery sessions to understand client business goals, workflows, and constraintsDesign and present solution architectures, demos, and proof-of-concepts aligned to client needsClearly articulate value propositions, differentiators, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiencesRespond to RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires with accurate and compelling technical contentSolution Design & ArchitectureTranslate business requirements into end-to-end solution designs, including integrations, data flows, and deployment models Ensure solutions align with product capabilities, security standards, and scalability requirementsIdentify gaps, risks, and dependencies early and propose mitigation strategiesCollaborate with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities based on client feedbackCollaboration & EnablementWork closely with Sales Engineers, Product Managers, and Professional Services.Support handoffs from Sales to Delivery, ensuring solution intent and scope are clearly documentedContribute to sales enablement materials, reference architectures, and demo best practicesAct as a subject matter expert for assigned domains, products, or industriesRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in a technical fieldStrong understanding of enterprise software architectures, APIs, integrations, and data modelsExcellent communication and presentation skillsComfortable working across multiple stakeholders and geographiesPreferred / Nice-to-Have QualificationsExperience with SaaS platforms and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)Familiarity with security, compliance, and data privacy considerationsExperience influencing product roadmaps or participating in beta programsPrior client-facing consulting experienceWhat Success Looks LikeIncreased win rates and deal quality through strong solution alignmentPositive client feedback on solution clarity and credibilitySmooth transition from sales to implementation with minimal reworkStrong internal partnerships with Sales, Product, and Delivery teamsRecognition as a trusted advisor by clients and internal stakeholdersWhy Join UsWork on high-impact, complex client challengesInfluence both sales outcomes and product directionCollaborate with experienced, cross-functional teamsCompetitive compensation, benefits, and career growth opportunitiesAbout State Street Across the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
