24.75 hours per week (Term time only, plus inset days). Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (Flexibility required to meet need).
Grade 4, SCP 5.
Salary: £25,989 – £13.47 per hour (pro‑rated salary £15,019 based on 45.05 weeks).
Closing Date: Wednesday 17th June 2026.
Interview: Week commencing Monday 22nd June 2026.

Responsibilities
The Governors wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to provide support in addressing the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning.
Qualifications
- Experience of working to support children’s learning, gained in a relevant environment.
- Understanding of relevant policies/codes of practice.
- Good understanding of areas of learning, e.g. literacy, numeracy, science, SEN, Early Years.
- Use of other equipment technology – photocopier, computer, iPad, laptop.
- Well‑developed interpersonal skills to be able to relate well to a wide range of people.
- Work constructively as part of a team whilst being able to demonstrate initiative.
- Good communication skills.
- Effective use of ICT to support learning.
- Willing to work towards NVQ Level 3 or recognised equivalent.
Visits to our school are welcome and encouraged.
