We are seeking a qualified Plumber with mechanical maintenance experience to support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality facilities management services. This role is key to ensuring plumbing systems and associated mechanical equipment operate reliably and in line with compliance standards.

Responsibilities
- Respond to plumbing and mechanical issues, supporting emergency escalation procedures, including out-of-hours when required
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plumbing systems and mechanical plant
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs within technical capability
- Ensure all work is carried out safely using approved systems such as RAMS and LOTO, and in line with company and industry standards
- Assist with prioritising work orders and liaise with the Helpdesk and end users to ensure efficient service delivery
- Carry out pipework repairs, installations, and like-for-like replacements, along with minor mechanical works
- Monitor system performance, including water systems and mechanical equipment, escalating issues where necessary
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Report progress and highlight issues to the Senior Technician
- Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including time, materials, and relevant details
- Complete required training and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What we’re looking for
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering
- Relevant experience in plumbing and mechanical maintenance
- Knowledge of water hygiene standards (G3 qualification desirable)
- Understanding of engineering compliance and best practice
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Experience working in a similar facilities management environment
