Position Overview
An English Teacher is required for a specialist SEMH school in the Newcastle area. You will deliver English lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a full‑time role to start as soon as possible and will continue on an ongoing basis. The school has mixed‑sex pupils and a supportive, friendly staff and management team.
Ideal Candidate
- Good classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching English
- Excellent subject knowledge
- Able to organise themselves
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold QTS or QTLS
- Provide two referees that can be contacted
- Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
Application & Benefits
We welcome both experienced teachers and entry‑level teachers (ECTs). Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. Statutory sick pay is provided if required, and payment will be prompt and weekly.
