Location: Salford – Greater Manchester

General hours of work are 40 hours per week with overtime opportunity. Hours and shift patterns tend to fall on days; however, you may also be required to work evenings, nights and weekends. You will also be required to be on the on‑call rota especially if you have the use of a company van.

Chevron part of Ramudden Global UK provides temporary roadside traffic management services, including setting up temporary road or lane closures, diversions, signage, temporary traffic lights, pedestrian crossings and barriers.

Responsibilities

  • Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses.
  • Maintenance of temporary traffic lights.
  • Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management equipment such as: cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment.
  • Helping and guiding new trainees once qualified.

Qualifications

  • Full driving licence with no more than 6 points; any driving bans must have expired for at least 5 years.
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test; offer will depend on the outcome.
  • Positive ‘can‑do’ attitude.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.

Training is subject to signing a training agreement. Welcome bonus and maternity & paternity payments are subject to terms and conditions.
