Service Technician

Position

ProtyreAutocare is looking for an enthusiastic Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a fast‑growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs using the latest diagnostic technology and techniques to identify vehicle issues.
• Ensure the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Complete fast‑fit tyre fitting and use an alignment machine to read and make relevant adjustments.
• Fit brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension and other mechanical products.
• Carry out MOT repairs and adhere to company procedures for the vehicle inspection process.
• Use diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing and repairs are thorough and of the highest quality.
• Advise on other issues vehicles display, including common issues for certain makes and ages, and offer timelines for future repair needs.
• Work safely and comply with health & safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Full current UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months.
• Level 3 Automotive Qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience with mechanical and fast‑fit repairs, including tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension and general servicing of a wide range of vehicles.
• Ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment.
