Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00, Friday: 08:00 – 15:30 (37 hours per week)

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled NDT Engineer Level 2 to join a well-established engineering team in the aerospace industry. As part of a growing company, you will work closely with senior technicians and the Materials Manager to deliver high-quality Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform NDT tasks in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all NDT-related documentation.
  • Support NDT operations at remote locations as needed.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to complete tasks on time and within budget.
  • Continuously assess and improve NDT procedures for efficiency and safety.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous NDT experience in aerospace, automotive, aviation or similar high value manufacturing (essential).
  • Qualified to PCN/AERO scheme, BS EN ISO 9712, or EN4179 Level 2 in Eddy Current (EC) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) (other disciplines beneficial, but not essential).
  • Strong understanding of products and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to be Security clearance compliant with UK/ITAR regulations.
