Weighbridge Operator

Salary: £14,838.53 plus Veolia benefits

Part Time Hours: 18 hours per week – Saturday 07:00–17:00 and Sunday 08:00–17:00

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire, GU14 7QN

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge system and accurately record the weight and other specified details of vehicles both entering and leaving the site.
• Act as front‑line reception, overseeing all site visitors and contractors arriving on site.
• Control inbound and outbound vehicle processes, including receiving, transferring and storing all wastes in line with environmental permits.
• Issue instructions to drivers of vehicles entering and leaving the site.

Qualifications

• Excellent IT skills and the ability to learn new software.
• Similar administrative experience within a busy operational function.
• Good health & safety knowledge.
