Penbridge School is seeking to appoint a newly qualified Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our team on a fixed term basis as maternity cover. The role is based in our primary academy in Portsmouth.

Fixed Term until 31/08/2027

Responsibilities

• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Demonstrate a deep passion for primary education
• Exhibit outstanding classroom practice, fostering high standards of achievement and behaviour
• Design and deliver a creative, engaging, and stimulating curriculum
• Be committed to continuous improvement, both for pupils and through personal CPD opportunities
• Bring a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills to our school community
• Actively contribute to the positive ethos and development of Penbridge School

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience or enthusiasm for teaching in primary education (newly qualified teachers welcomed)
