- Demonstrates excellent classroom practice
- Has high expectations of learning, behaviour and achievement
- Can create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Understands the importance of adaptive teaching and SEND provision
- Has strong behaviour management skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
- Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Works effectively as part of a team
- Is reflective and committed to continuous professional development
- Experience of teaching phonics and early reading effectively is highly desirable
