We’re looking for caring, adaptable SEND Teaching Assistants to support a welcoming primary school in Shirehampton, North Bristol. Whether you’re after one day a week or a full diary, you choose the days that work for you.

You’ll be supporting children with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Some pupils may need 1:1 support, while others benefit from small group interventions or simply having a calm, consistent adult nearby.
What the role could involve:
- 1:1 support for pupils with SEND
- Helping children regulate emotions and access learning
- Supporting classroom routines and transitions
- Encouraging communication, confidence, and independence
- Working closely with teachers and SEND staff to create positive learning experiences
What we’re looking for:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND is preferred
- Calm, patient, and positive personalities
- People who can build trust and strong relationships
- A proactive approach and willingness to get stuck in
- TA, care, youth work, nursery, or support work backgrounds all welcomed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
