THE POST
We are looking for a positive and inspiring Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the team at Wymondham College Prep School on a permanent basis. The role will support and complement the professional work of teachers as directed. The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working with children, preferably primary school age, in a classroom or similar environment and have evidence of professional growth;
- Show a secure knowledge and understanding of effective teaching and learning;
- Be eager to learn, grow and develop their pedagogy to be the best they can be;
- Be committed to the school’s high standards of teaching, learning and professional development;
- Have excellent communication skills, a warm and caring manner and a good sense of humour;
- Understand the importance of an inclusive environment, have high expectations and confidence to challenge and support pupils’ choices;
- Have a welcoming, kind and nurturing manner and a commitment to professionalism.
