We are currently working on behalf of a welcoming and friendly primary school in Malton who are looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in education. You’ll gain valuable hands‑on experience supporting teaching and learning across the classroom, while also working with pupils on a one‑to‑one basis and in small groups to help them make meaningful progress in their learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with their learning and development within the classroom
- Work closely with the class teacher to support pupil progress
- Use a range of strategies to support children with different learning needs
- Help to create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Qualifications
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Is organised, proactive and eager to learn
- Works well as part of a team
- Demonstrates professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Has a positive, caring and empathetic approach
- Is passionate about working within a school environment
