Overview
We are a dedicated team of Social Workers, Child in Need Keyworkers and Family Support workers supporting disabled children and families across Bristol.
We are looking for an experienced Social Worker who has completed their ASYE to join our team and advocate for and improve outcomes for disabled children.
Responsibilities
- Advocate for disabled children and ensure improved outcomes.
- Implement the Bristol Systemic Practice Framework and undertake statutory duties in accordance with legislation relevant to children & their families.
- Collaborate with connected persons and carers to provide specialist evidence‑based interventions.
- Develop specialisms in practice to build understanding and skills in complex social‑work areas.
- Contribute to continuous training, resource development, supervision of students/apprentices, service development projects/research and partnership building with other agencies.
Qualifications
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience.
- Completed ASYE (Associate Social Work Experience).
- Demonstrated ability to uphold professional standards and maintain current knowledge of relevant legislation and practice methods.
