We have an opening at our Brand-new Watford Hub for delivery drivers to join, working Monday – Friday, starting between 06:00 – 08:00.

Job Description

As a Delivery Driver, you will be a key member of the team providing a great service to customers & branches by ensuring on‑time delivery, providing polite & professional face‑to‑face customer interaction and passing along any insightful customer info to support the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Completing daily multi‑drop delivery routes to business customers using a company van
  • Loading and unloading goods safely (including manual handling where required)
  • Checking deliveries are accurate, obtaining proof of delivery and handling paperwork/scan devices
  • Communicating courteously with customers and resolving minor delivery issues on the spot where possible
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks (defects, tyres, lights, cleanliness) and reporting issues promptly
  • Following all road traffic laws and company standards (health & safety, safe driving, site rules)
  • Supporting the depot/warehouse team when needed (e.g., helping with loading, returns, housekeeping)

What we are looking for

  • Driving: Held a valid UK driving licence for 12+ months, with no more than 3 points & over the age of 21 (insurance purposes)
  • Experience: Proven multi‑drop delivery & basic warehouse experience
  • Communication: Great conversational skills to enhance your customer service and engagement across your colleagues and customers
  • Adaptability: Ability to switch up your day when needed, to support the business’s needs
