A warm and busy professional family based in a beautiful village near Diss, Norfolk, are seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Nanny / Housekeeper to support their home and children on a part-time basis.
This is a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining household support with after-school childcare. The family has 2 cats and 2 dogs (labradors) with 12 acres of land. A beautiful and fun environment.
The position will include a mix of housekeeping duties and childcare support across the week:
Monday: 6 hours housekeepingWednesday: 1:00pm – 8:00pmThursday & Friday: 1:00pm – 6:30 / 7:00pm
Total: Approximately 27 hours per weekAdditional hours may be available during school holidays
The Children:
The family havefive children aged between 5 and 19 years, so the role will primarily focus on the younger children, alongside general household support.
Duties will include:
- General housekeeping and maintaining a tidy home
- Laundry and ironing
- After-school care and supervision
- Supporting with routines and activities
- Preparing simple, healthy meals
- Creating a calm and organised environment
£17 gross per hour / from £24,000PACompetitive for the right candidate

- Warm, reliable, and organised
- Confident managing both household tasks and childcare
- Proactive with a positive, can-do attitude
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Driving licence preferred (due to location)
