Welder/Fitter

We’re urgently looking for skilled MIG / MAG Welders to work for a busy automotive manufacturing company in Warwick. Both permanent & contract jobs available, with immediate starts on offer.

Overview

• 4 day working week (Monday – Thursday)
• Standard working hours 06:30 – 16:00
• Base rate £19.10/hour
• Overtime Mon-Thu = £23.48/hr, all hours Fri & Sat = £26.42/hr, Sun = £35.22/hr
• Annual production bonuses also regularly paid
• Company experiencing continuous growth, with an excellent record for staff progression

Candidate Experience

ESSENTIAL

• Experience in MIG & MAG welding
• Medium-heavy fabrication of steel (2mm to 10mm)
• Welding/fabrication qualifications
• Ability to build and tack weld from drawings
• Spot visual faults
• Read and understand engineering drawings
• Multi-skilling flexibility
• Willingness to learn new skills

DESIRABLE

• Welding approval certificates
• BSEN 287 approved coded welding
• Ability to use pendant crane
• Computer literacy
