Desian Education is currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Assistant for a full-time, long-term position within a highly regarded primary school in Prescot.
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed individual to secure a stable, long-term role starting immediately. You will be an integral part of the classroom team, working closely with the teacher to support the learning and development of all pupils.
The Role
- Supporting the class teacher in the daily management of the classroom.
- Assisting with the setup of learning activities and resources.
- Working with small groups of children to boost their confidence in core subjects.
- Helping to maintain a positive and focused learning environment.
- Supporting pupils during break and lunch times where required.
Experience: You must have previous experience working as a Classroom Assistant or Teaching Assistant in a primary setting.
Attributes: A proactive nature, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting young learners.
Availability: Must be available for full-time hours (Mon-Fri) and ready to start immediately.
Compliance: A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential (or a willingness to apply for one immediately).
