Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated PET CT Radiographer/Technologist to join our team.

The successful candidate will have either HCPC or an equivalent voluntary registration. You should have a background in Nuclear Medicine, preferably with experience of PET-CT, and be experienced in handling and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals. A high level of competency in cannulation is preferable.

A candidate with significant experience working as a Radiographer will also be considered, as training in PET-CT can be provided.

In this role you will undertake a competency program in PET-CT to develop your knowledge and help you gain a full understanding of PET-CT. Training will be delivered “On the Job” and in collaboration with the Christie School of Oncology via the PET-CT training academy. You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role. If you do not have prior experience in IV cannulation, Alliance Medical will provide full training.

Experience

  • Experience in PET-CT an advantage
  • IV Cannulation Certificate preferred – training will be provided
  • Must be IT literate
  • Enhanced DBS clearance required
  • Flexibility to operate across multiple sites if required
  • CT experience desirable
