About The Role

Reporting to the Spa Manager at W Edinburgh, the Spa Receptionist plays an integral role in ensuring all guests feel pampered and relaxed throughout their stay. This role requires passion for hospitality, continuous learning, and the ability to be an excellent brand ambassador.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the reservation system by scheduling services for clients and large groups using spa reservation systems.
  • Confirm or amend upcoming scheduled treatments.
  • Update the reservations/cancellations list throughout the day, inform providers of last‑minute changes, and resolve scheduling issues by working with the supervisor or manager.
  • Check in guests for appointments and provide general spa orientation upon arrival.
  • Be highly knowledgeable about all products and treatments offered.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the Spa.
  • Work well as a team with fellow therapists and the wider hotel team to ensure guests receive seamless service.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in five‑star, luxury hotels and spas preferred.
