Job Description:

We’re looking for a reliable and conscientious Night Porter to support hotel operations overnight and help ensure guests feel safe, welcomed, and well looked after during the night shift.

This role is ideal for someone calm, dependable, and practical—someone who enjoys responsibility and understands the importance of reassurance, safety, and quiet efficiency when the hotel is at its calmest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and enquiries
  • Maintain hotel security and safety procedures throughout the night shift
  • Carry out regular security checks across the hotel
  • Provide general overnight support to hotel departments as required
  • Assist with light maintenance or housekeeping tasks when needed
  • Set up meeting rooms and public areas as required
  • Serve food and beverages to guests during the night
  • Check guests in and out when required
  • Act appropriately in emergency situations, following hotel procedures
  • Prepare basic reports and handover notes for the management team
