Pastoral Support Officer

Grade 7 – £30,024 – £33,699 (pro rata & pay award pending)

Permanent – Full Time – Term Time Only (plus one week), starting 1 September 2026 pending DBS clearance

Salary and Term Time Calculation

Term-time only plus one additional week’s pay is calculated as follows:

• Number of teaching weeks – 38 weeks
• Public (bank) holidays – 1.6 weeks (8 days)
• One additional week inclusive of CPD – 1 week
• Individual leave entitlement: 5.4 weeks (27 days) if 5 years
• For <5 years: 39 weeks + 27 days + 8 days = 46 weeks’ pay, paid in 12 equal monthly instalments
• For >5 years: 39 weeks + 32 days + 8 days = 47 weeks’ pay, paid in 12 equal monthly instalments
