We are proud to work with a specialist SEND school in North Somerset that supports children and young people with additional social, emotional and mental health needs. The setting promotes a positive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and emotional resilience through strong pastoral support and tailored educational approaches.
The school is looking to take on a committed SEND Teacher on a long-term basis starting ASAP. The successful SEND Teacher will be supporting students across a range of ages and abilities, delivering engaging lessons and adapting learning to meet individual EHCP targets, while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and personal development.
Qualifications
- QTS
- Experience working with children and young people with SEND including SEMH and ASD
- Excellent behaviour management and classroom management skills
- Experience delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
