Y2K VINTAGE STORE MANAGER – BRIGHTON

Y2K Vintage is entering an exciting new phase of growth, with the launch of our first two stores outside of London. Brighton location marks a huge step forward, bringing our curated womenswear offering of 90s and 2000s vintage to a new and vibrant community.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to take full ownership of this store. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a key expansion moment, helping to grow the brand, build a loyal customer base, and establish Y2K Vintage in a new city.

You will be responsible for:

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a strong, motivated team
  • Create a positive, inclusive and high-energy working environment
  • Provide coaching and development to drive performance and culture

Sales Management

  • Drive sales and exceed store targets
  • Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to maximise performance
  • Lead from the front in delivering strong customer engagement

Visual Merchandising

  • Oversee the presentation of womenswear collections
  • Create an inspiring, trend-led store environment rooted in 90s/2000s fashion
  • Adapt displays based on performance and stock

Social Media and Local Marketing

  • Work with the Social Media Manager to promote the store
  • Build strong local presence and community engagement in Brighton
  • Drive awareness through creative marketing initiatives

Inventory Management

  • Maintain strong stock levels and product mix
  • Monitor performance across categories and respond accordingly

Staffing

  • Manage rotas, payroll and team scheduling
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations

Customer Experience Enhancement

  • Deliver an exceptional and memorable in-store experience
  • Build strong relationships with customers and drive loyalty

Business Development and Expansion

  • Play a key role in establishing the Brighton store as a destination
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and evolution of the brand

Coordination with Company Founders

  • Work closely with founders on strategy, performance and future opportunities

Desired experience:

  • Proven retail management experience, ideally in fashion or vintage
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Commercially driven with strong KPI understanding
  • Visual merchandising experience
  • Passion for womenswear and 90s/2000s vintage fashion
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £34,000 per annum

Additional pay: Bonus scheme
