We are recruiting for a HGV Driver (Class 1 and Class 2) to join our team in Ipswich, Suffolk.

About the role
As a HGV Driver (Class 1 and Class 2) the role involves standard working hours Monday‑Friday, delivering and collecting palletised cargo across the Suffolk area using curtain‑sided vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections, report any defects, and ensure the vehicle is operated safely and legally at all times
- Plan and manage routes efficiently, report any major deviations, and oversee the safe loading and unloading of goods
- Support efficient use of resources, including fuel and equipment
- Act as a professional representative of the company in all dealings with clients, members of the public, and colleagues
- Comply with all legal requirements and company policies, provide accurate proof of delivery, and promptly report any issues or incidents
About You
- Full UK driving licence with Category C+E entitlement and a current CPC
- Experience as a HGV (Class 1 and Class 2) is ideal but not essential; a thorough induction programme is provided
- Excellent communication skills and a polite, professional manner
- Expected to maintain your vehicle in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at all times
- ADR and/or forklift licence is desirable but not required
