Security Officer

Position Summary

Security Officer – part‑time, permanent position at our client’s site in Barry, UK. Hours are Friday & Monday 6am to 6pm (24 hours). The MSS Group is a specialist provider of facilities, industrial and environmental services with expertise in hazardous, highly regulated and complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed KPI targets set by Site Manager in liaison with the client
• Conduct Personnel and Vehicle searches
• Adhere to policy and procedures, without failure
• Report and react to any security or site non compliances
• To be customer & service provision focussed
• Carry out daily patrols
• To work as part of a team

Qualifications and Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and polite manner at all times
• Proven ability to work as part of a team
• Be physically fit
• Security experience
• Ability to remain calm in demanding situations
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Minimum 5 year checkable work history
• A valid SIA Licence
• Willing to assist with cover shifts

• £13.93 per hour
