About the role:
justteachers are recruiting a passionate and committed Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to start in September 2026 at a Bradford Secondary School on a full-time and long-term basis.
The Behaviour Support Teaching assistant will make a positive impact on students in a school that serves a diverse community in the centre of Bradford. They believe that every child, regardless of background or ability, deserves a high-quality education and the opportunity to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development
- Assist delivering targeted behaviour interventions
- Provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage challenging behaviour in class
Pre-requisites:
- Two education/school-based references
- Experience working with challenging students
- The ability to communicate with and inspire children of all abilities
- A strong commitment to raising standards
- Have high expectations for teaching, learning and behaviour
