We’re looking for an AV Technical Support Engineer. This is a hands-on, field-based role covering AV/VC support, troubleshooting, and installation support across multiple customer sites.
You’ll take ownership of technical issues from initial report through to resolution, while also supporting live projects and installations.
Key responsibilities
- Attending customer sites across the UK and Europe to diagnose and resolve AV/VC issues
- Carrying out investigations, fault-finding, PMVs, and installation support where required
- Owning support tickets from receipt through to full resolution
- Keeping customers updated on progress throughout the lifecycle of issues
- Updating and maintaining the service desk system accurately
- Testing, configuring, and preparing AV equipment for deployment
- Supporting installation teams with AV/VC project delivery
- Working directly with clients to help deliver suitable technical solutions
- Working flexible hours where required (early starts, late finishes, occasional overnight stays UK & abroad – all expenses covered)
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in AV/VC support across multiple sites
- Strong knowledge of AV systems such as Crestron, Poly, Shure, and display technologies
- Comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of issues
- Methodical, proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Basic understanding of Microsoft 365, admin, and licensing (desirable)
- Full clean UK driving licence (essential)
- Flexible, hands-on, “can-do” attitude with willingness to travel regularly
