Overview

Everyone has a GP – and today alone, GPs and their teams across the UK see over 1 million patients. The Royal College of General Practitioners, the largest membership organisation for GPs in the UK, is looking for a Member Services Administrator to support our 55 000 members and their patients. We are committed to improving patient care, developing GP skills, and promoting general practice as a discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to members, potential members and other stakeholders.
  • Respond to enquiries and support requests via multiple communication channels within RCGP KPIs.
  • Co‑ordinate departmental activities and maintain the member database.
  • Handle high volumes of calls and email queries concurrently.
  • Deliver an exceptional member experience as the first point of contact.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in a fast‑paced membership or customer‑service environment.
  • Proven track record of managing high volumes of calls and email queries.
  • Proactive self‑starter with a passion for customer service.
  • Ability to work with intermittent supervision within a diverse, highly motivated team.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
