Water Recycling Process Operator (Works Technician Process Controller)
Salary & Benefits – Starting at £31,756, with standby allowance, potential overtime and a company van for business use.
Location – Tilbury, Basildon, Chelmsford & surrounding area.
Employment Type – Full Time / Permanent.
Hours – Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (flexible start/finish). Standby and occasional weekend work are required and pay accordingly.

Your Role
Operate, maintain and service the water recycling treatment processes to meet regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include:
- Operating and maintaining assets such as tanks, pumps, screens, blowers, valves, motors, flow meters, compressors and more.
- Performing preventative and reactive servicing and maintenance, including lubrication.
- Carrying out process sampling, analysing results and escalating issues.
- Complying with company safety policy and procedures and maintaining good housekeeping.
- Optimising energy usage while ensuring compliance.
- Working in confined spaces and at height within the required health and safety limits (maximum weight 113 kg with occupational health checks).
Background and Experience
- Experience in a process environment an advantage, but not essential.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence.

- Competent with IT systems.
- Problem solver, able to work quickly and take initiative.

- Excellent team player with an enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
