Availability windows: Sun 22:00-02:00, Mon 22:00-02:00, Tue 22:00-06:00.
Our Tesco colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but you can choose fewer hours (minimum 12). We schedule contracted hours within the availability windows and provide three weeks’ notice of exact shift times. We support flexibility if your available times match closely but not exactly to the advertised times.

- Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.

- Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Be knowledgeable about store performance, understanding your role and contributing to service and sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Live our values, make everyone feel welcome and always follow policies.
- Accept deliveries into the store when required.
Qualifications
- Passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride.
- Ability to build rapport with customers so they leave having experienced a great shopping trip.
- Initiative and decision making for customers.
- Teamwork and open communication with colleagues.
- Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit.
- Be punctual, well presented and ready to be a brand ambassador.
- Must be over 18 to apply.
- Ability to work before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm if required.
