Support Worker – Community Integrated Care – Peterhead
We are looking for a dedicated, flexible Support Worker to provide person‑centred care for vulnerable adults across the Peterhead area. The role is based in our community settings and requires working 24/7 including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Deliver all aspects of daily living support according to each individual’s care plan, including personal care, medication administration, financial support, meal preparation and attending community groups and social activities.
- Assist with mobility, washing, dressing and meal preparation as required.
- Support individuals to increase confidence, independence and skills through positive reassurance, guidance and encouragement.
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely reports to the team.
- Work across shift patterns to provide continuous support Monday‑Sunday.
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 3 qualification in Social Care or equivalent experience in social care.
- Experience with mental health, autism, sensory communication and physical health care.
- Strong interpersonal skills – patience, empathy, reliability and determination.
- Ability to act as a mentor and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Willingness to undertake specialist training (Positive Behaviour Support, Makaton, Picture Exchange System).
