Role Summary
As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be the welcoming face for our customers, responsible for:
- Handling job bookings using our in-house system
- Discussing technical concerns and service needs with customers
- Providing professional, friendly, and efficient customer support
- Supporting the Autocentre team in delivering outstanding service
- Collecting and delivering vehicles as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone
- Book appointments and manage service schedules
- Address customer queries and concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Collaborate with technicians and service managers to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records and update customer profiles
- Promote Halfords products and services where appropriate
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
- IT literate and comfortable using booking systems
- Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Experience working towards and achieving performance targets
- Ideally, experience in an Autocentre or automotive environment
- Must hold a full UK driver’s licence with fewer than 9 points (vehicle collection/delivery required)
