Job Description:

Receptionist / Driver in Broomfield Chelmsford – Out of Hours, Weekends and Night Shifts. Must hold a full, clean, manual UK driving licence. The role blends reception duties with vehicle transport and support for clinicians.

Responsibilities

  • Receptionist duties: welcome patients with compassion, ensure confidentiality, handle appointment booking, comfort calls and sensitive situations, offer support during distress, maintain accurate record keeping and two‑way communication with call centres.
  • Driver duties: conduct vehicle and equipment checks, safely transport clinicians to home visits, accompany clinicians into patient homes, ensure correct use of equipment and vehicles, and support efficient operations.

Location & Working Hours

Broomfield Chelmsford, with flexibility to cover Southend, Thurrock and Basildon when required. Weekend and night shift availability are mandatory. You must be able to drive both automatic and manual vehicles.
