Location: Hullavington, SN14

Job Type: Live in 1 full week

Salary: £100 – £135 daily

Schedule: 1 week on 3 weeks off

Requirements: 6 months experience in healthcare

Client overview: Our client is an 86 year old woman who has very challenging behaviour, she is in need of a carer with very tough skin and passionate about care as she can be unpredictable but is just looking for consistency and to build a relationship with her carer. She is also blind and uses a ventilator for breathing at times. She used to run a Shakespeare group and believes in creativity. She enjoys attending her village hall committee and supporting with community celebrations. A carer who enjoys social activities and getting out in the community would be ideal.

What HFH offers

  • Typically, our client base requires ongoing care, 24 hours a day, and benefit from the continuity of a small core team of regular care staff.

  • Our specialist carers work with one client per shift and do not travel between multiple homes. The average shift is duration 12hrs.

  • Where possible we will offer you work to meet your availability and as a guide, the average carer works three shifts (36hrs) per week for us and earns £500 555 p/wk*.

  • The regular working patterns that our clients require mean this three day a week work pattern equates to an average annual income of between £26,200 £28,950*.

  • We employ all staff directly and manage all aspects of your pay via PAYE, rather than Limited Company or Self-employed status. This removes the need for you employ third party companies or calculate your own tax. PAYE also protects you from breaching IR35 tax regulations.

  • *Please note: This dependant of their shift pattern (days/nights/weekends) and these rates shown are inclusive of holiday pay which is accumulated per hour worked.
