Responsibilities
Lead the full Design and Technology curriculum across all key areas for children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Foster resilience, confidence and learning progress, working within a supportive SEND environment.
About the School
The new Castlefell School is a purpose‑built, state‑of‑the‑art facility catering primarily for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and moderate learning needs for autism. The school serves up to 50 pupils aged 8 to 16, providing an outstanding educational experience.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous teaching experience
- Passion for teaching technology and building relationships with pupils
- Can‑do attitude, team player, and enthusiasm to develop the department
