Job Summary
Due to expansion of numbers, Talbot House Children’s Charity are looking to recruit Specialist Support Assistants (SSAs) to work in our Non‑Maintained Specialist School.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist support to pupils ranging from Reception to Key Stage 4, with complex needs including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, trauma and attachment. Some pupils may have multiple needs and class sizes rarely exceed six pupils.
Hours of Work
Term time only: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Friday. Alternatively, Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; 8:30 am to 3:30 pm on Friday. Total 39 hours per week, including paid lunch periods.
Salary
£26,321.82 per annum (paid over 52 weeks, no pro‑rata).
