Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver personalised lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH and ASC, aligning with the school’s inclusive ethos and educational approach.
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies to support their individual development, ensuring a supportive and structured learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and behaviour, contributing to the development of individualised education plans.
- Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural needs through positive behaviour management strategies consistent with the school’s values.
- Collaborate with the wider staff team to create a cohesive, nurturing environment that promotes respect, resilience, and independence.
- Supervise and monitor students during lessons, break times, and other activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Contribute to the planning and organisation of classroom activities and resources to optimise learning outcomes.
- Engage in regular team meetings, training sessions, and school development activities to uphold high standards of teaching and learning.
