Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation and service.
  • Follow recipe specifications to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Support preparation and menu production across different kitchen sections.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
  • Monitor ingredient quality and support stock rotation.
  • Work flexibly across sections to develop core culinary skills.
  • Support service by ensuring timely preparation of dishes.

Person Specification

  • Genuine passion for food and hospitality.
  • Basic kitchen and knife skills with willingness to learn.
  • Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Enthusiasm to grow and develop within the brigade.
