Project Manager

Senior Project Manager – Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage client projects through all laboratory operations phases, including project set-up, maintenance, login review, communication of analytical issues, client account maintenance, reporting, invoicing, bottle orders, client pickups, and work-share facility identification.
• Project review in LIMS; set up project and add project notes (special reporting and invoicing instructions, etc.).
• Review project documentation (permits, SOW, QAPP, purchase/task orders) and add it to the central repository.
• Set up client for MyEDL and manage purchase orders, task orders, contracts, and change order requests.
• Verify that lab compound lists and limits meet project requirements for new projects not quoted; add any project-specific limits/lists to LIMS.
• Assign deliverable routes and confirm EDD format availability; submit helpdesk tickets for new formats.
• Communicate project details to operations, initiate project kick-off calls with clients as needed.
• Engage work-share labs, service centers, and non-Eurofins Environment Testing America locations for new projects; collaborate with operations to ensure adequate capacity and forecast incoming work.
• Provide updates to operations on upcoming work and confirm familiarity with state and national program requirements as they pertain to work mix.
• Create bottle orders; schedule courier or field sampler as needed.
• Verify lab certification meets project requirements; manage logs for Rush and short holds.
• Communicate any issues to clients for duration of project and resolve login issues; send client sample receipt confirmations.
• Review draft invoice, confirm client information is recorded in LIMS for invoicing.
• Ensure client-specific report requirements are met; review job list daily and manage due dates.
• Communicate expected delays, confirm correct report and EDD format, create and issue final reports by client due date, issue final data packages.
• Handle state reporting forms, DMR forms, EDD checkers, data upload.
• Set up delivery route, review final invoice before issuance, generate and submit credit/debit memos for approval, and follow up calls to confirm correct invoicing.
• Collaborate with collections on A/R follow-up and maintain account upkeep.
• Initiate project QAPP reviews, technical support requests, quote generation and approvals, confirm lab placement, certification, and limits; create, submit, and send quotes to clients; provide QAPP/SOW information to clients; update status in LIMS.
• Support follow-up of quotes/bids for tracking purposes and perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Hours

Full time, first shift, Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM, with additional hours as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (four years of client-relationship/client service experience in a related setting may substitute for a degree). 
• Previous customer service experience in the environmental industry, 2+ years preferred. 
• Computer skills – proficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel. 
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak). 
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. 
• 2–4 + years of customer service experience in an environmental science field. 
• Previous project‑management experience, preferably in lab testing or a related field. 
• Some prior science or lab experience. 
• Great attention to detail and strong computer skills. 
• Professional communication skills.
