Job Overview

Salary: £140 per night (includes holiday pay accrual – Holiday pay is accrued and held separately, not paid out weekly).

Working pattern: Regular nights – mix of waking and sleeping.

Requirements: To be eligible to apply, you must hold full right to work in the UK and be able to drive.

Your Role

Provide safe, outstanding care of a male client in Peacehaven with complex healthcare and developmental needs. Duties include implementing care plans, medication administration, and providing compassionate, tailored support to promote independence and wellbeing.

The client is sociable and enjoys gaming, history, and comedy. Ideal candidate for this sleep‑in nights position would be calm, proactive, and have a great sense of humour. You will support one client at a time in a consistent care team in a stable long‑term role.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 12 months of home‑care experience
  • Experience with complex needs including brain injury, visual impairments, behavioural and learning difficulties
  • Car driver
  • Compassion, professionalism, and reliability
  • Good communication skills and IT confidence
  • Willingness to be part of a family‑centred care team
  • Understanding of safeguarding
  • Ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
