Performance Objectives

• Participate in a positive and proactive EHS culture across the site
• Perform EDM operations using a variety of machines — including wiring, sinking and deep hole drilling
• Work in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineers and CNC programmers to operate the EDM to meet daily production targets
• Provide methods and technical support to other members of the team as needed
• Assist in developing tooling solutions as required
• Keep full documentation up to date, detailing the EDM path, features and tooling information
• Maintain safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations
• Document actions by completing production and quality logs
• Contribute new ideas and positive support to improve productivity
• Assist in solving manufacturing and quality issues using root cause and analysis tools

Person Specification

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Excellent knowledge of engineering drawings and interpretation
• Previous experience manufacturing with EDM equipment and controls is ideal
• Previous experience with CNC‑based machine equipment is desired
• Strong communication skills at all organisational levels
