Office and Reception Area Cleaner

Role

Cleaning Operative.

Hours

8:30 am – 4:30 pm (40 hours per week).

Location

Millsike Prison, YO41 1PS.

Role Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in the establishment by carrying out cleaning tasks to a high standard.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms to ensure all areas remain fully equipped.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines, at all times.
• Conduct disinfection and deep cleaning when required.
• Report any incidents, defects, or dangers to the supervisor promptly.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to use initiative when completing tasks.
• Strong customer service skills applied to every job attended.
• Flexibility within contracted hours and a ‘can do’ attitude.
• High moral standards and absolute integrity.
