EdEx is partnered with a high-achieving secondary school in Hounslow to recruit a Humanities Teacher ready to step into, or continue in, a Head of Department role. This full-time, permanent position starts in September 2026 and is directly employed by the school (not a supply or fixed‑term contract).

The role offers the opportunity to take on pastoral leadership while working within an Outstanding Humanities department. Whether you are an experienced Head of Year or a high-performing Humanities Teacher ready for your first TLR, this school provides support and CPD to help you thrive.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Humanities Teacher with QTS
• Proven track record of strong classroom practice

• Open‑minded, reflective and committed to continuous improvement
• Comfortable contributing to a team ethos and leading a year group with energy and empathy
