About the job

A Day Centre Support Assistant will work in the Social Hub within Miners Court, delivering interactive activities and supporting clients with mental‑health and care needs to choose, maintain and enjoy an independent, secure lifestyle.

• Support clients with mental‑health problems in a positive and non‑judgemental manner.
• Deliver a range of interactive and stimulating activities alongside professional care and support services.
• Maintain a good standard of education and willingness to undergo further training.
• Possess or obtain an A level 2 Health and Social Care qualification (desirable).
• Hold a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (essential).
• Support gender balance initiatives: male candidates who meet essential requirements will receive guaranteed interview consideration.
