Typical Responsibilities
- Assemble small components (electronic or mechanical) according to work instructions or samples.
- Inspect and test assembled products to ensure quality and functionality.
- Use tools such as soldering irons, small hand tools and air tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and safety protocols.
- Complete production documentation as required.
- Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve assembly issues.

Qualifications
Essential / Desirable: Minimum of GCSEs, Maths and English, or further education qualifications.
Experience
Essential / Desirable: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in assembly.
Essential: Experienced background in electronics manufacture. Desirable: Proficiency with PC literacy software.
Skills / Abilities
Essential / Desirable: Skilled in assembly techniques and able to use hand and air tools. Essential: Good manual dexterity for working with small components. Essential: Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and BOMs. Essential: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with colleagues professionally. Essential: Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. Essential: Problem‑Solving: Ability to handle unexpected situations and solve problems quickly and effectively. Essential: Familiarity with Health and Safety protocols in an electronics or technical environment.
