Assistant Manager

Role Mission & Key Responsibilities

  • Store Leadership: Oversee daily front‑of‑house (FOH) and back‑of‑house (BOH) store operations to ensure smooth service flow and maximum operational efficiency.
  • Team Development: Lead, supervise, and train service and kitchen team members to enhance performance and ensure strict adherence to hospitality standards.
  • Quality & Safety: Ensure total compliance with food quality, hygiene, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain safety and brand standards.
  • Inventory & Cost Control: Manage inventory ordering, par stock levels, and stock control to optimise supply and reduce waste.
  • Profitability Management: Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS) and wastage, implementing proactive cost‑control measures to improve profitability.
  • Guest Experience: Handle customer feedback professionally and execute swift service recovery to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Driving: Drive sales performance by supporting marketing initiatives and actively promoting our unique vegan menu items.
  • Cross‑Team Coordination: Coordinate effectively between kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and quality food delivery.
  • HR Admin Support: Support staff onboarding, training, scheduling, and internal communication to build a cohesive, motivated team.
  • Operational Readiness: Uphold proper opening and closing procedures to maintain total operational readiness and store security.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Eligibility: Singaporeans, Permanent Residents (PR), or Long‑Term Visit Pass (LTVP) holders are preferred and will have an added advantage.
  • Experience: Proven management track record as an Assistant Manager, Shift Manager, or Team Lead in high‑volume F&B settings.
  • Schedule: Able to commit to a 5.5‑day work week shift structure, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Certifications: Possess a valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 or Level 3 (Food Safety Supervisor).
  • Skills: Strong management capabilities, commercial awareness (COGS/wastage), and excellent communication skills.
  • Mindset: A strong passion for healthy living, sustainability, or plant‑based lifestyles!
