About The Role
Working Days: Monday – Friday 08:00-16:30. Working in our Technical Services mobile team. We manage and support major contracts in Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Education, Government and Energy across our continually expanding division.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, inspect and carry out repairs or preventative maintenance as required and respond to breakdowns in a timely fashion.
- Ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPMs are completed within budget, meet quality standards, and honour contract‑defined time SLAs & KPIs.
- Perform duties related to building fabric and maintenance repairs.
- Assist the maintenance team with additional facilities work as required.
- Provide quotations for recommended works.
- Take responsibility for ensuring a safe system of work is followed before commencing work activity.
- Maintain sites to the highest standards, complete all works, and provide general handyman services, including L8.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, cleaners and security to ensure effective facilities management of the site.
- Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
Essential Hiring Criteria
- Right to work in the UK.
- Current, valid driving licence.
- Time‑served maintenance and fabric background.
- General skills in Carpentry, Basic Plumbing, Painting & Decorating, Door Hanging, Carpet/Lino repairs, Glazing Repairs, Masonry Repairs, Locksmithing, Tiling, and ceiling grids/tiles.
- ACOP L8 awareness.
- Sound knowledge of creating and updating safety documentation to ensure site safety procedures are followed.
- CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
- Understanding of First Aid.
- IT literate – basic understanding of Excel and Microsoft products.
