Maintenance Handyperson

Responsibilities

• Implement all policies, standards and procedures for Water Hygiene, Energy Conservation & Control, Fire Prevention and other Safety Programmes, and Effective Preventative and Routine Maintenance Inspections.
• Respond to job log system registered works and complete all jobs assigned within targeted timescales.
• Monitor engineering stock levels and log shift activities regularly, communicating appropriately when needed.
• Report any hazards or defects to senior management.
• Process handover in line with company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills and willingness to learn.
• Excellent guest engagement skills.
• Ability to bring the guest experience to life throughout the hotel.
• Ability to communicate and organise yourself in line with different guest expectations.
• A good command of English is essential; a second language is advantageous.
• Organisation, Communication, Time Management, Fluency in English, Microsoft Office, Multitasking, Technical skills, Attention to Detail, Customer Focus, Team Work, Problem Solving.
• Full-time employment.
• Experience required.
• Languages: English – Advanced.
