Your expertise in fundraising will help us to:
- Build a stronger, more resilient organisation by improving our people structures, policies, and culture, ensuring the team is well‑supported, effective, and aligned to our mission.
- Secure and grow sustainable income: shape our fundraising strategy, diversify income streams, strengthen funding relationships, and increase financial stability.
- Support responsible and strategic growth: guide expansion of services to support both men and women, ensuring growth is well‑planned, sustainable, and impactful.
- Improve outcomes for beneficiaries: strong governance, effective teams, and stable funding translate into better support, safer housing, and more successful move‑on outcomes.

What are we looking for?
We seek a Trustee with strong fundraising experience who is passionate about helping charities grow their impact and sustainability. We want someone who can bring strategic insight, practical knowledge, and encouragement to support the organisation as it develops its income streams and expands services.
Skills and experience
- Experience securing funding from trusts and foundations.
- Developing or contributing to a charity fundraising strategy.
- Building relationships with donors, grant makers, or corporate partners.
- Supporting organisations to diversify income streams.
- Experience reviewing or strengthening funding applications and proposals.
We particularly welcome individuals who have worked within charities, social enterprises, or mission‑led organisations, though transferable experience is sufficient. Previous Trustee experience is welcome but not required.

As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the future direction of our growing charity. We especially seek individuals with experience in fundraising, organisational development, or building sustainable systems.
Our Board works closely with senior leadership and adopts a hands‑on, supportive, and collaborative approach. We aim to balance strategic oversight with practical input. Trustees often contribute deeper through focused areas such as fundraising development.
